The slider which was caught shaking hands with the FCC some time ago has surfaced again, this time in Brazil. This will be the second model in Motorola’s new ZINE line (the first being ZN5 and its Kodak-branded 5-megapixel camera) and frankly speaking, there isn’t much to speak of in terms of features that we haven’t seen before.

Motorola seems to be getting better at churning out unexciting phones nowadays, and their latest W265 doesn't seem to change that fact. Motorola has just sent their W265 to the FCC, though not many people will actually care whether it gets certified or not, as it seems like it will have very basic features only.

You know it and I know it. The LG Dare isn’t the iPhone contender the Instinct is. No matter how good it looks it can’t be compared to them. Not to mention the HTC Touch Diamond. Apparently LG also knows this and they are going to do something about it.

LG Dare is available through Verizon Wireless’ online store since last Friday, it will be available in your local store from July 3rd onwards. The LG Dare has a 3-inch large LCD screen, comes with handwriting recognition, 3.2 megapixel camera with face detection and flash, and photo editing capabilities.

Out of the 18 electronics companies evaluated in the 8th edition of Greenpeace’s Guide to Greener Electronics, only two companies - Sony Ericsson and Sony - score above 5/10. The guide is now being released every 3 months.

Check out the new Samsung J638 SLM clamshell mobile phone. It will be launched by its manufacturer, Samsung, in the Asian market. The J638 clamshell phone is a 3.5G phone that supports tri-band GSM, WCDMA 2100 and HSDPA network.

Research in Motion has the new BlackBerry OS 4.5 ready for launch. All BlackBerries coming out this summer will have this system already installed while the rest of us, stuck with an older Berry will have to wait until September to go upgrading.
