Nokia Research Center (NRC) Helsinki today unveiled a new research concept at Demo House 2010 research exhibition in Espoo, Finland. The mobile radar demonstration shows how a mobile device can use an active radar sensor to measure speed and the direction of movement of approaching objects, just as traditional RADAR would. It uses electromagnetic waves to provide a different type of mobile wireless sensing. |

Apple today introduced iPad, a portable tablet with Multi-Touch display, 0.5 inches thick body and weighs just 1.5 pounds. iPad includes 12 new innovative apps designed especially for the iPad, and will run almost all of the over 140,000 apps in the App Store. iPad will be available in late March starting at $499. Apple also announced the new iBooks app for iPad, which includes Apple’s new iBookstore, the best way to browse, buy and read books on a mobile device. The iBookstore will feature books from major and independent publishers. |

Still waiting for a HTC Touch HD2 in US? The Windows Mobile smartphone is finally reaching T-Mobile USA, with a internal memory boost! Compare to other international version, T-Mobile version has a 1GB ROM and 576MB RAM, meaning you can install more applications or store more data into your internal memory. While the pricing info is not available, the HD2 is sold with a 16GB microSD card, compare to the 2GB microSD card bundle in other region. |

Here is something odd. An unannounced Blackberry 8910 Curve made its way at the Case-Mate booth at the CES 2010 which sent some signals that this latest Blackberry phone may just be coming out any time soon. Though it does seem strange, the Blackberry 8910 Curve was on hand showcasing a Fuel Lite battery pack/case. |

Though unofficial, the Nokia X6 16GB will reportedly come in multiple color variants which are not available in the 32GB models. The Nokia X6 16GB will come in black, pink on white and blue on white. Though the Nokia X6 may sport a limited number of features and storage, it is expected to be reasonably priced around $500. |
