According to a report on digitimes today, Asustek (Asus) is planning to launch its Android smartphone in 2009 next year. The company plan to announce the phone in the first half of 2009 and it will target the Taiwan market first before selling it to other regions.

The Pantech Slate was announced today for availability on AT&T and it boasts the thinnest QWERTY keyboard in all the land. We reported on this phone to you earlier this month but now you can actually go pick up this thing for yourself.

Samsung has just released a smartphone called the Samsung C6620, that is very similar to their BlackJack model.  Currently the smartphone is only available in Italy via Italian service provider TIM. TIM is currently offering the C6620 for €199 in 3 different colors, Wine Red, Apple Green and Navy Blue.

The Motorola RAZR2 V9 already had some classic editions such as Ferrari one, but the new version V9x is an upgraded model. In some aspects, it is very similar to the normal V9, but in others - storage capacity, more battery life - it is a better cellphone.

Sonos introduced the Sonos Controller for iPhone as a free download on the iPhone App Store. Music lovers with an iPhone 3G, iPhone or iPod touch can now control the Sonos Multi-Room Music System all from their favorite portable device. The fashion clamshell for the modern woman offers a flowery purple and black design. It has 2.4-inch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera (but this photo displays 3 megapixel camera?), video recorder, Bluetooth, and speakerphone.
