Verizon has added a new LG handset to their website, more specifically the entry-level LG VX5500. After signing a 2-year contract it only costs $50, and it is only available in one color - gray. |

Alltel is ready to launch a touchscreen phone. It’s the Samsung Delve or the r800. It has that Omnia or Instinct-like design but it’s a totally new and original phone. It has EV-DO 3G support, stereo Bluetooth, Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, a microSD card slot, a 2-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack. There’s a virtual QWERTY keyboard, a 500-contact phone book and a full HTML browser to play with. |

AT&T in US has start to offer free WiFi access again for its iPhone users (some sites reported that it include all smartphone users). Once you connected to a supported wireless hotspot, for example starbuck, you can submit the form to receive an access link via sms. |

In Italy, TIM as scored another exclusive release, this time they received the LG Tribe messenger phone. This phone is very stylish with fantastic colors and a beautifully laid out full QWERTY keyboard. Threaded messaging makes this phone perfect for those who message a lot. |

Pictures have surfaced of what looks like the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA. We believe it is safe to say that this is a concept model, not actually meant to be released. Sony has not yet made any comments on these photos. |

You may not see many phones by it, but Alcatel is still around and selling phones. This time it has come up with another entry-level handset that has a built-in accelerometer in the form of the Alcatel OT-I650. If you were wondering what the phone would do with an accelerometer, well, it’s to make it easier for you to switch between applications by simply shaking the phone, which is quite similar to some of Sony Ericsson’s music phones. |
