Alltel Wireless and LG today introduced the LG Swift, a clamshell phone that comes with Fastap Press-to-Experience keys. The Fastap Keypad provides “swift and simple” one-touch discovery, access and use of phone features, services and applications such as Alltel Navigation, Alltel Shop, Email, Alarm Clock and Image Library. |

Pharos already had the GPS Phone 600 and 600e available for T-Mobile customers, but they’ve added two new products entitled Traveler 117 and 127. Much like the other models, the Travelers are categorized as “GPS Smartphones” and strangely enough they come unlocked, meaning that a 3.5G connection is possible. The 2 new products will be the first ones to make use of Pharos Smart Navigator - their hybrid navigation system that has location services as its main feature. |

Two screenshots on the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system have surfaced. Steve Balmer, CEO of Microsoft, reportedly proudly unveiled these two screenshots to the world at PDC 2008. We won’t be seeing this version on handsets until 2009. |

After much of rumors and leaked info, Verizon Wireless today said that it will start selling the BlackBerry Storm on November 21st to all consumers and corporate customers. The price of the touch screen phone will start from $199.99, which required a 2-year service contract and after a $50 MIR. |
