FredFlare advertised a new funny accessory for the cellphone. The cover is designed as a yellow banana. Except for keeping your phone safe from scratches, it looks attractive and makes your friends stare at your handset. Available for both flip and bar phones for $10.

Have you heard of UBiQUiO 501?
Written by Kristin
Thursday, 24 August 2006

I’ve never heard about this company, but it seams to be really interesting. They are about to release an ultra slim Pocket PC Phone Edition with QWERTY keyboard, the UBiQUiO 501. It’s very easy-to-use since it features the traditional Pocket PC input through the 2.5" QVGA touch screen, allowing stylus control of menus and programs.

The UBiQUiO 501 has a Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, WiFi 802.11b or 802.11g and GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz networks support. It also contains the 2 megapixel camera and the 64 MB internal storage which is extendable through miniSD cards.

We are still not sure wether this handset will be released or it’s just another Windows Mobile devices which hides after the announcement.

RAZR Tatoo coming soon
Written by Kristin
Wednesday, 23 August 2006

Motorola isn't done accessorizing the RAZR-the company will soon start shipping laser-etched (AKA tattooed) RAZR handsets. The artwork was designed by Ami James, best known from the TV show Miami Ink.

Motorola first got the idea for tattoos after the pink RAZR outsold all expectations. Since that time several other colors have shipped, but the pink model continues to sell well. There should be several tattoo designs, but the design shown at right is the only one that has been shown off.

Look for tattooed RAZRs starting next month. No word if the new KRZR or RIZR handsets will also go under the needle.
