Sporting the hot new device, the football icon popped up at ersatz appearances around Tokyo,Appearing with leading Japanese sportscaster Tomoaki Ogura on Best Moments in Sports 2006, Fuji-TV's highly rated year end sports program, Beckham showed the MOTORAZR in each of its three colors. In an exclusive announcement, the soccer icon also unveiled a one-of-a-kind customized “MOTORAZR tattoo keitei by David Beckham" that will be auctioned online or via MOTORAZR or other mobile phones at to raise money for UNICEF, in honor of Beckham’s role as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. |

Sandisk today rolled out a 32GB flash-based hard drive made for commercial notebook computers. These new, 1.8-inch drives store data on flash memory chips instead of the usual magnetic platters on hard drives. These smaller drives promise smaller, possibly more efficient notebooks but the company has refused to disclose which manufacturers will be integrating these new drives. It did say however that notebooks sporting the drive may come out as early as the first half of 2007.

The S-XGen from Seamless Internet is an UMPC which claims to be the "First Practical UMPC For Real All-Day Power Computing On The Road" and will be exhibited at the CES 2007. The S-XGen UMPC boasts of an unique design and is equipped with a fold-out keyboard and capable of an impressive eight-hour battery life. It draws it juice from an Intel PXA 270 Xscale 520 MHz processor and the base model also includes; 256MB of RAM and a 20GB hard drive. |

The Bluetrek ST1 Bluetooth headphones may just get many takers, thanks to its bendable design which is always more practical! A brainchild of the Korean company Bluetrek,the headphones have been designed for daily usage and are available in black / snow white color combo. The headphone draws its juice from an in-built Li-ion battery which is capable of almost 9 hours of playback and 400 hours of standby time. One also comes across play / pause, track direction, and volume controls on the earpiece itself. No word on pricing or availability but they will be showcased at CES 2007. |

The companies announced today they plan to begin offering the Sprint Mobile Broadband Smart Device MOTO Q by Motorola later this month in Sprint business sales channels and online. Sprint is expected to begin offering the MOTO Q in all channels including Sprint Stores in mid-February. |
