The touch screen is real, but the phone is not... We actually saw many fake phones around, and sometimes we like to post some interesting copy cat. This W810i is branded as OSCAR, has the same model name W810i (they dun even bother to change the name!). Phone body design is almost the same. The display screen is a touch screen where you can use a stylus to input text and select menu. Stylus is hidden nicely at the side, similar to those pda phone. |

Samsung announced a 3-megapixel (M-pixel) CMOS image sensor (CIS) with a 1/4-inch lens aperture that is well suited for ultra slim camera phones. "Our 1.75um-pixel, 1/4-inch lens aperture 3M-pixel CIS is a unique combination of Samsung's high resolution sensor technology and high speed serial interface that brings digital still camera-level picture quality to mobile handsets," said Yong-Hee Lee, vice president of Samsung Electronics' System LSI Division. |

The Nokia 6155i Flip Phone Coming Soon From Nokia. Has 6X Zoom, Push-to-Talk, and Fast Wireless Connection. The Nokia 6155i is a noble phone with various features that I must highlight. Sandwiched between the skinny frame is a 128 X 160 pixel display, four-way navigation, and an external mini display. The 1 megapixel camera has 6X zoom but it has one obvious flaw; the 1 megapixel itself which is limited to 1152 X 864 pixels. |

Here is a sneak peak of the LG KE850-based Prada cellphone and looks like this one is all about style and simplicity! While not much is known about the handset,we do know that it does away with the keypad and instead has a touch-screen display that "changes based on the application being used. Don't expect anything over the top as the LG KE850-based Prada will have an all black color scheme. LG wants to keep the price reasonable so that mere mortals like us can experience some designer goodness. The handset will make its debut in March/April 2007 in select European countries. |

People primarily watch TV via their mobiles in the home, preferably with their morning coffee in the kitchen or in bed before they fall asleep. This was the conclusion of mobile TV consumer testing that Telia conducted in Hammarby sjöstad in Stockholm. Two-thirds of total mobile TV watching takes place in the home, followed by on the way to work, school, practice or when waiting for someone. The majority of users mainly watch mobile TV in the morning between 7:00-8:00AM and in the evening between 5:00PM-10:00PM. On average, users watch 30 minutes at a time. |

So the portable media usage scenario we hear most about around these parts looks a little something like this: user has cellphone, user has portable media device, user wishes portable media device could be integrated into cellphone so user only needs to take with them one device. Enter, oddly, Agere's new oxymoronically named BluOnyx device. By way of Bluetooth, SD card, or USB, users load up their BluOnyx -- which, conceptually, could come with between 1 and 40GB of space, would be roughly 85 x 54 x 6 or 15mm, and cost between $100 and $250 -- with content, which is in turn wirelessly transferred via Bluetooth to the user's cellphone for playback, effectively reducing the devices carried from two to, um, two. |
