Two Dutch carriers KPN and Scarlet introduced mobile phones designed especially for small children. Ikids model will be released this week with embedded GPS receiver operating even with the handset turned off. Phon
e menu will allow parents to set "zones", where designated child can play. As soon as a child crosses defined border, parents will get SMS message. Furthermore, parents can monitor movement of their child on virtual map from the screen on their mobile phone or pc.
