Sony Ericsson P990 3G Mobile Phone Announced |

Sony Ericsson announces the P990 3G smart phone today. The P990 has been leaked on the net before as Hermione or P1000.
The Sony Ericsson P990 will be the first commercia
lly available smart phone to adopt the enhanced Symbian OS version 9.1 and UIQ 3 software platform. It follows the Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910 models in it's design. The P990 is Wi-Fi enabled, has a 2MP digital camera with auto-focus and features a new keyboard beneath the flip-down keypad (see hi-res photo). Other features include 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, Memory Stick PRO Duo up to 4GB support and 80MB internal free memory.
The Sony Ericsson P990 3G phone will start shipping during Q1 of 2006. The P990 will be available in 4 hardware keyboard variants: QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY and Russian.
