Alltel is ready to launch a touchscreen phone. It’s the Samsung Delve or the r800. It has that Omnia or Instinct-like design but it’s a totally new and original phone. It has EV-DO 3G support, stereo Bluetooth, Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, a microSD card slot, a 2-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack. There’s a virtual QWERTY keyboard, a 500-contact phone book and a full HTML browser to play with. The touchscreen phone will be available on November 6th for $199 with a service contract and after $100 mail-in rebate.  Source |
