It’s only politically correct to announce that HTC has shipped almost 1 million Touch Diamond cell phones since May. After all we did announce Apple’s 1 million mark. That means that sometime soon this month the Diamond will actually sell 1 million units.
It’s only politically correct to announce that HTC has shipped almost 1 million Touch Diamond cell phones since May. After all we did announce Apple’s 1 million mark. That means that sometime soon this month the Diamond will actually sell 1 million units. While the iPhone 3G sold in 1 million units in three days, the HTC Touch Diamond sold the same amount in about three months from official launch. HTC planned to sell 2 million Touch Diamonds in 2008 and it looks like they are going to reach their goal especially after opening another plant in Shanghai. Their newest plant will be manufacturing 2.5G+ handsets when it will begin production in October. With it HTC will reach a total of 1 million handsets produced per month which will certainly aid them to get their projected numbers before the year’s end. Source |
