Looks like an online retailer called Expansys has leaked a bit of information about the BlackBerry 8220 and 8210 smartphones. Code named the KickStart and SeaWolf, these phones have popped up on a pre-order page which shows some vital handset info and spurs some serious speculation about release dates and when we can get our hands on these phones. Both phones will have a 20-key SureType keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm audio port, a microSD card slot and more. However, the 8210 has a GPS instead of WiFi and the 8220 has quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) The exact price and availability of these models are not yet known. And since RIM has yet to make any sort of official announcement, all of the details above are subject to change. Sporting a clamshell design, we’ll just have to wait and see what the KickStart and SeaWolf bring to the table once they’re announced and subsequently released. Source |
