Google has just released a web based version of Google Talk, specially designed for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. In order to stay online with the Googlel Talk, you will need to keep your Safari web browser running after login in to the Google Talk. Once you switch to other window or application, your session will be disconnected and eventually they will reconnect you back when you return.

To access the web based google talk, just open up http://www.google.com/talk in your iPhone or iPod Touch browser.
