Well folks, just about an hour after the HTC Hero’s official website was discovered, HTC went ahead and officially unveiled the phone. 
While there aren’t many new details other than what was stated on the website (Qualcomm 528MHz processor, 5MP camera, 3.2″ touch-screen) we do know that the white model will feature Teflon coating to keep it stain (and scratch?) free. However we failed to mention that it will feature a Flash rendering web browser, UI customization, and full integration of social networking sites like Flickr and Facebook. Furthermore, HTC let us know that the Hero will arrive on an announced carrier in Europe next month and Asia last this summer. As for North America, HTC says it will hit later on in 2009. Source |
