Helio announced two phones Hero and Kickflip and supplied information as to its future services. The carrier is intended for youth and is going to start providing services this spring. As it was stated in press-release new phones will be available with Helio only. Both novelties were developed on the basis of popular Korean EV-DO phones high-end class and adopted for US customers.

Hero developed by Pantech is a stylish multimedia slider. It is equipped with 2.2 QVGA display (resolution 240x320 p) that supports 262K colors, 2Mp camera, microSD (Trans Flash) slot. Judging by all that Hero is modified PN-8300 presented in the beginning of January at CES 2006.

Kickflip was produced by VK Mobile and is US analogue for Korean VK600C. It is a white rotator with 2.2-inch QVGA display (resolution 240x320 p) that supports 262K colors, 2Mp camera, microSD (Trans Flash) slot.

As to services Helio announced that they will be adjustable and having communicational possibilities, games, audio and video content. Also MySpace Mobile On Helio service designed together with MySpace.com will be available. It will include mobile access to MySpace mail, blog, photogaleries, profiles etc.
