McAfee launches mobile antivirus. The set of applications is intended for cell phones and smartphones using Windows 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Symbian. The software pack offers not only virus protection but also 2-side brandmauer and spam filter. The pack is claimed not only to filter mail and Bluetooth connection safety but also to protect from IM viruses. The software is supposed to be installed by the phone manufacturer and a user will have to update the virus base regularly.
