Orange starts HDSPA tests in France |

The French carrier Orange started testing services based on the HDSPA high speed data transfer technology. The experiments are conducted in the second biggest French city Lion with the help of 150 corporative subscribers with the provided speed of 1.8 Mbit/s. Such services as TV, video and video games with high resolution and also current music in MP3 format are provided. Orange uses HDSPA-solution fom Nortel allowing speed up to 3.6Mbit/s. Orange France plans to launch HDSPA services all over the country in the second half of the current year.
