Samsung develops faster mobile phone |

Maker of electronic bits and bobs, Samsung, says its boffins have invented mobile phones for the High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technology which are twice as fast as current models. Samsung said the new phones can download at 3.6 Mbps and use an integrated version of Qualcomm’s latest chip, Mobile Station Modem or MSM6280. In a press release, Samsung communication business boss Lee Ki-tae said Samsung, was now well on its way to leading next-generation telecom technology. But he would say that wouldn't he?
