Smartphones popularity is predicted to explode in the nearest future |

The research company In-Stat as well as several other research firms has predicted an extreme increase in smartphone popularity during the next few years. The company informed that during the previous year 31.5 million smartphones were sold, which result exceeds the figure of 2004 by 70%. Now smartphones take up 15% of the cell phones market. The most popular OS is Symbian. Palm OS, Blackberry OS, Windows Mobile, linux and HipTop Os follow the leader.
