T-Mobile announced that it posted a net income of $2.99 billion in the last quarter of 2005. The amount is up from the $458 million posted in the third quarter of the same year and a net loss of $329 million in the last quarter of 2004. T-Mobile USA also informed that it reached $1.11 billion in Operating Income Before Depreciation and Amortization (OIBDA) and service revenues (made up of postpaid, prepaid, roaming and other service revenues) were $3.26 billion in the last quarter of 2005. Overall the company is very happy about its 2005 progress. They acquired 4.4 million new customers in 2005 (a year earlier this figure made 4.2 million).
