According to Nothern Sky Research survey the number of mobile TV consumers will rise to 107 million by 2010. The basis for that are high speed wireless nets development, availability of content and decrease in prices for the phones supporting mobile TV function. Such new technologies as MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Standard) and HSDPA in 3G nets are another factor pro mobile TV. According to experts during next 2-3 years there will be a competition of such technologies as MediaFlo, DVB and DMB though none will prevail considerabely.
