While the iPhone is not even out yet, there are already rumors that the iPhone will be released with a GPS update at Macworld next year, thanks to an integrated Assisted GPS chipset which takes a much faster time to determine the user's current location. Should this rumor be true, it will be very Nintendo-like, with the Japanese gaming giant releasing a hardware refresh barely a year after the Nintendo DS was launched.
